Technical parameters: Floating (F) walker, length 75 mm, weight 9.3 grams, depth - Top Water.
Classic walker from TsuYoki. Bladeless surface wobbler for fishing in shallow water, over thickets of underwater vegetation, and spot fishing in windows among aquatic grass.
Design features: MAMBA 75F has two relief surface textures separated by a side line. The upper part is made in the form of diamond-shaped notches imitating scales, and the lower part (down to the abdomen) is in the form of oblique notches. The head part of the wobbler imitates gill covers in relief. Volumetric 3D eyes complete the realistic design of the bait. MAMBA 75F has a long casting and balance system. The bait is equipped with two sharpest Cultiva treble hooks and power winding rings. The quality of the paint and varnish coating meets all modern requirements.
Casting and animation: Despite its light weight (9.3 g), MAMBA 75F, when using balanced tackle, flies to the 40-45 meter mark. This is facilitated by the geometry of the bait and the long-distance casting system. The bait penetrates the wind perfectly, practically without losing casting range and accuracy. In the water, the wobbler takes an inclined position, with its tail pointing down. Animation MAMBA 75F is a classic walker wiring in the “walking the dog” style. Rhythmic low-amplitude jerks with continuous selection of the cord by a reel. With this wiring, MAMBA 75F draws a classic wolfer “snake” on the surface. During the active phase of the retrieve, the MAMBA 75F turns 90 degrees in both directions, and can make such turns almost in place, with very little forward movement. This makes it possible to fish compact windows in fields of aquatic plants. The wiring needs to be varied with pauses, during which the wobbler will hang on the surface, lowering the tail part down. A bite can be expected both during the active phase of the retrieve and during a pause. I would like to note that the bait is very obedient and understandable in animation. It forgives small mistakes in the wiring technique without significantly disrupting the game. So anglers who have not previously fished with walkers should start their acquaintance with this class of baits with the MAMBA 75F. And everything will work out!
The main trophies of the MAMBA 75F are pike in and above the grass, asp (a very long-range bait) and kettle perch.
Our opinion: An impeccably executed and absolutely working walker with a fairly wide range of applications in terms of the variety of potential trophies.
A leash of 10-12 centimeters, made of thin steel string, does not affect the buoyancy of the bait and does not critically affect the animation capabilities. When specifically fishing for pike, you can safely place your bet.
Optimal set of gear: Fast action spinning rod 7.0-8.0 feet and weight distribution up to 18-25 g, reel size 2500-3000 according to the Shimano line and 8-core smooth cord # 0.8-1.0.
A slightly more powerful rod (up to 25 g) will come in handy when fishing for pike in the grass.
